Establishment of NIRS

We realize that education is fundamental for complete development of individuals.  As a premier Institution we endeavor to harness this inherent potential through meeting the growing needs of school going children of krishnanagar area.

Nandi Co-operative Sugar Company, being an ISO 9001&14001 Mega Industry we, the Board of Directors, unanimously decided to open an International Residential School in the memory of our Founder and veteran leader Late Shri. B.T. Patil. It is interesting to note that every farmer who supplies cane to our sugar company has a share in this educational venture as he has contributed Rs. 15/-per ton for all these years.

It was the vision of the Founder Late Shri.  B.T. Patil to open a school to impart Quality Education to the children of this area. We are committed to fulfill his dream.

As a first step, we started a Primary school under the aegis Nandi Shikshna Sangha, which is the Educational wing of Nandi Co-operative Sugar Company, and it is converted the same to Nandi International Residential School and is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.

We are also happy to appoint Mr. Prakash. B. Sirmokadam as Principal of Nandi International Residential School.  He has rich experience of working in very good schools.

What we need to do is to empower the intellect here and to re-jig the current education system and bring in new way of learning and adopt the new global mechanisms and approach.  We also need to equip today’s generation with enough armories to be tomorrow’s powerful global citizens.  And that’s exactly why “Nandi Shikshana Sangha” has been set up for.  That’s precisely the perspective and purpose of coming into existence of “Nandi International Residential School”.

With firm foundation and proper grooming, the children here will not just grow in age but in multidisciplinary global thinking.  They will function differently and operate on an en evolved level.  They will be ready for the new India.  After all, as Indians, they will need to lead the way globally.  Come let’s create a new India!
